Future
The future tense indicates an action that will happen sometime in the future. The future tense can be formed in two ways. First, it can be formed using the auxiliary verb will. It is easy to conjugate the future tense using "will" because regarless of the subject (I, you, he ,we, they) the conjugation is the same.
Some examples are:
| Subject | auxiliary verb | simple form |
| I | will | go |
| You | will | go |
| He/She/It | will | go |
| We | will | go |
| You (plural) | will | go |
| They | will | go |
Future with "GOING TO"
The second way to conjugate verbs in the future is using "going to". Although this appears to be a present progressive form, it is really used to indicate the future. The construction is subject + be + going to + simple form of the verb. This is sometimes called "the future with going to".
| subject | conjugation of "be" | going to | simple form | rest of the sentence |
| I | am | going to | see | Sally tomorrow. |
| You | are | going to | meet | Allen next week. |
| He/She/It | is | going to | eat | later on. |
| We | are | going to | be | in the park tonight. |
| You (plural) | are | going to | play | football tomorrow. |
| They | are | going to | visit | Rome next year. |
